Norma Corona Soliz, aged 56, born in El Paso, Texas on May 24th 1967, died unexpectedly January 24, 2024 in Universal City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Martha Vasquez-Guerra, and her Step Father, Rene Guerra. She is survived by her father, Ramon Corona Jr, her husband, Gilberto Soliz Sr, her children Roxanne Soliz, Gilbert Soliz Jr, Benita Hernandez, Demetrio Soliz, and Ramon Soliz. 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, with a second on the way. She was a kind soul, who had love for all. She made everyone feel as if they were family and never pulled away to lend a helping hand and always made time to talk to those who needed a friend. She was always positive and supported with all, never held judgement towards anyone. Norma had a love for music from Soft Rock to Tejano to Rock and Roll. She was a hard worker and only took days off to show support to her grandchildren. Her love for her family shows in her children and taught them that forgiveness is letting go of grudges and bitterness can make way for improved health and peace of mind. It is important for emotional well-being, restoring relationships, and personal growth. She was brave, funny, empathetic, and compassionate to everyone she met.
Norma's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, at Puentes & Sons Funeral Chapels, 14315 Judson Rd San Antonio, TX 78233. 3-4pm for immediate family, 4-8pm for family and friends.
