In addition to her family and her Catholic faith, she loved bridge, dogs, music, dancing and making people happy.

Norma is survived by her husband, Donald Thurman; sister, Marilyn Robert Ammons; stepson Donald Thurman Jr. and his wife Glynnis, and step grandchildren Donald III (Wes), Jack and Sally Thurman. Norma is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to especially thank the Duplantis family, Haydel Hospice and caregivers Ashley Allen, Ayanna Hurst, Candice Williams, Courtney Allen, Cherlyn Brown, Keira Johnson, Tisaiah Williams, JoAnn Davis, and Dru Minchew for their loving support.
