Barbara and siblings; Sandy and George relished their summer vacations on Grand Isle where their daddy taught them to swim, fish, catch crabs, and taught them to drive on the wide-open beaches. They enjoyed many adventures when the Island was a wilderness with a sparse population.

She had a saying: “Many things in life may change, life begins and ends with family.” “God’s most precious gift is the birth of my children, as their mother I held their hands for a while, and their hearts forever.” “May God Bless you all, keep you safe and may God Bless America.”
