Sylvia Josie Liner, 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma, Louisiana from 9:00AM with funeral service starting at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Sullivan Paul Dehart (Dudlene); daughter, Dottie Wakeland; grandchildren, Chris Wakeland (Margaret) and Shelli Usie; great-grandchildren, Cameron Wakeland, Regan Wakeland, Bree Usie, Kole Usie, and Ally Usie; and her godchild, Sonja Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Junius Liner; son, Roger Dehart; sisters, Genevieve Duplantis and Libby L. Senette; son-in-law, Richard Wakeland; and her husband, Albert “Joe” Leblanc.
The family will like to send a special thanks to her caregiver, Roxane Hutchinson; Agape Care Group Hospice and Staff- especially Lacey, Callie, and Shwanda; and Pastor Patrick Thompson of Bayou Blue Assembly of God. Thank you for your caring, love, and support.
