Norma was one of the first people I met after moving to Virginia, which was quite a long time ago. Norma and I shared a love of crafts and of the outdoors. We had such good times together. Then life kept happening and we both became involved with kids, college, graduate school, and then, careers. Separated by time and miles, we unfortunately saw little of each other in later years. A sincere, talented, honest, hard-working, caring, and fun person like Norma is a rare find and I feel fortunate to have known both her and Dan.

To Dan, Andy, and Elizabeth,
Growing up, there was a cross-stitch hanging on my bedroom wall with the initials NS, from my neighbor Norma Sims. As I grew older, we shared a love of gardening and I loved talking to her about her flowers. I have fond memories growing up next to such kind neighbors. My thoughts are with you from overseas.

Dan and Andy, I am so sorry to hear of Norma´s passing. I enjoyed getting g to know her over these past few years. I will fondly remember tearing the old garage apart and the huge fire! Praying you will experience peace and comfort. -Chris Grim
