Norman Phillip Andreasen, 78-year-old rural Pryor resident passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on December 17, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas to Norman and Edna Catherine (Phillips) Andreasen. Norman graduated from Jay, Oklahoma High School, and attended college after high school. Norman married the love of his life, Diana Colleen (Hoffman) on February 8, 1975, at her parent's home in Pryor. He worked many years as a cab driver in Tulsa, including for the American Cab Company, he loved his job and met many interesting people over the years. Norman enjoyed reading, was a history buff, and liked keeping up with the current events around the world. Norman also enjoyed a good poker game and playing poker at the casinos.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The surviving family includes his loving wife Diana of the home, his children, Matthew Andreasen of Pryor, Nathaniel Andreasen of Pryor, Jonathan Andreasen of Stillwater, Joshua Andreasen (Jeanett) of Billings, Montana, Katherine Andreasen (Jon) of Ketchikan, Alaska, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild Wilder.
