Norman “Bud” Colvard Reece II, age 60, of Mountain City, TN, peacefully went on to be with our Lord on November 19, 2024. Bud was born on April 10, 1964, in Alexandria, VA, to the late Reverend and Mrs. Norman and Barbara Reece.
A graduate of Courtland High School, Class of 1983, Bud dedicated his life to his family and his community. For decades, he and his family operated Norms TV, a local electronics shop, where Bud served countless customers with dedication and a genuine love for his work.
Bud was a passionate tinkerer who enjoyed remodeling his home and engaging in his hobbies of building and collecting model trains, ships, and planes. He loved traveling with his family, and spending time creating memories around the table playing board games that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Michele Reece (nee Fishnick); his children, Victoria Reece Wilson (and husband Joshua Wilson), Norman Reece III (and wife Lisa Sagan), Ashley Parker (and husband Johnathan Parker), Benjamin Reece, Grace Reece, and Patrick Christman; his beloved grandson, August Parker; and his sisters, Debra King (and husband Robert King) and Barbara “Ukie” Quante. Bud’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, who will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024. A service to honor Bud’s life will be held immediately afterwards at 2:00 pm. All are invited to share in this celebration of his life.
