Norman Coyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Jan. 14, 2025.
Norman "Norm" Coyle, 83, of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at Brandywine Living in Haddonfield, NJ, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 3, 1941, in Sullivan, KY to the late Norman Dehan Coyle and Lola Martin Coyle. Beloved husband of Ana Luisa Hernandez (deceased). Devoted father of Norman Neil (Lisa), Christina (Lloyd), and Jeffrey Frank (Minelli). Adoring grandfather of Griffin, Katina, Marcus, Audrey, Jared, and Quinn. Dear brother of the late Nelson (Martha) and Duane (Susan). Norm will also be sorely missed by extended family, and friends. His impact as a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend was immeasurable.
Norm moved to Ft. Lee at age 3 and stayed there through high school. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps from 1959-63 and used the GI Bill to go to enroll at Fairleigh Dickinson University, graduating with degree in Electrical Engineering.
Norm and Ana married in 1968 and moved to Bloomfield, NJ. Norm worked in various roles at AT&T in Newark, NJ for over 20+ years.
In retirement, Norm and Ana moved to Lake Ariel, PA as residents of The Hideout. Norm reveled in the calm and peace of the Pocono Mountains, and this is where he and his family created countless memories. He loved kayaking, long daily walks, and family gatherings
with good food.
Norm's life in the Poconos was rich with the things he loved. A man of few words, Norm was honest, practical, resourceful (could fix anything with duct tape), and generous beyond compare. He loved his family beyond anything else, constantly giving everything he had to his children and grandchildren. He wanted nothing for himself, and he was always happiest when the family was "all together". He embraced life's simple pleasures and cherished moments with his family.
A small family-only service will take place at Fairview Memorial Park at 11:30 am on Friday, January 17, 2025.
