Norman L. Dick

Norman L. Dick, 86, passed away May 15, 2025, at The Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born October 16, 1938 in Burrton, KS the son of Frank and Hilda Dick. He had worked many jobs over the years, but his favorites were being a farmer, rancher and starting the family business, 3D Farm and Ranch. He was a member of the Journey Mennonite Church in South Hutchinson. On September 11, 1958 he married Dellis D. Schmidt. He is survived by his children, Darren (Julie) of Buhler, Dayul (Kathy) of Hutchinson, and Dorinda Honn of Buhler, his brother, Larry of Buhler, 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dellis, a son Doyle and 3 great grandchildren, Reighgan and Jeremiah Dick and Clara Dowell. He was buried on May 16, 2025 at Hoffnungsau Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday June 5, at 3pm, at Journey Mennonite Church, South Hutchinson, KS. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to TECH, Inc or Journey Mennonite Church Pryme Thyme Sunday School Class, in care of Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS 67522.
