Norman Harris Jr

Norman Harris, Jr., a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on October 9, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama, resided in Newnan, Georgia, Norman was known for his kindness, strong spirit, and dedication to his family.

Norman spent his professional life working in sales for Meyer Laminates, where he was respected by colleagues and clients alike for his integrity and commitment. Outside of work, Norman found joy in training his dogs, often referring to his home as the "Harris Petting Zoo," a testament to his love for animals and his nurturing nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Harris, Sr. and Alyce Juanita Curry Harris. He is survived by his caring and devoted wife of over 30 years, Karen Harris; his loving daughters, Tiffany DeWalt (Wesley) and Tangela Morris (John); his only brother, Jonathan Harris (Karen); and his cherished grandchildren, Laila DeWalt and Ronin DeWalt. Norman also leaves behind his special niece, Jonae Harris, along with many other family including a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will fondly remember him.

A memorial service to honor Norman's life will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

Norman will be remembered for his strength, kindness, love for his family, and his unwavering loyalty to those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
