Norman Dee "Norm" Lauver, 101, died at his residence on October 24, 2025. He was born October 11, 1924, in Cottonwood Falls, KS, to Dee Seth and Alma Lydia (Nafzinger) Lauver.

Norman graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1942 and attended Hutchinson Community College and Wichita State University. On June 20, 1943, he married Betty Jean Harrison in Hutchinson, she died July 8, 2008. He was a production manager for Kraus Plow until he retired. Norm enjoyed traveling, camping and woodworking.

Norman is survived by: son, Dan (Janette) Lauver; grandchildren, Josh (Melinda) Lauver, Deena Lauver, Barbie (John) Crabtree, Becky (Danny) Johnson, Donielle (Daryn) York; 7 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Norman is preceded in death by: wife; daughter, Rachel Speer; and parents.

Friends may sign the book Monday and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Fairlawn Cemetery with Pastor Mik King presiding.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please make memorials to First United Methodist Church or Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main St., Hutchinson KS 67501.

Dan and family, I am sorry for Uncle Normans passing. It was good to have talke with him at his 100th birthday celbration last year. I have good memories of family visits over many years. May God bring you comfort and peace at this time.
