Obituary For Mr. Norman David Russell
Mr. Norman David Russell, 68, passed away Tuesday at WFBH High Medical Center. He was born on December 22, 1955 to the late Norman and Ruby Mae Little in High Point, N. C. He was also preceded in death by sister, Robin Little; two nephews, Preston Russell, Jr. and Bobby Lee Locke, Jr.
He attended the High Point City Schools and as a youth attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Norman loved the outdoors and fishing. He also had a talent for repairing anything broken.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jamie Madden, three sons: David Kesler, Dylan Madden and Randy Russell; six brothers: Bobby Ingram (Mary) of Brooklyn NY, Larry (Mary) Russell of High Point, Preston (Trina) Russell of Kernersville, NC, Thomas (Denise) Little of High Point, NC, Joseph Russell of Miami, FL, and Phillip Gray of Ft. Pierce, FL; two sisters: Coralethia (Melvin) Gaines of Randleman, NC and Dennie Faye (Douglas) Hill of Liberty, NC; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc. Send flowers to the service of Mr. Norman David Russell

I will never forget our first encounter when you couldn´t believe that girls beating all of you on my pool table you said and then I beat Norm I will never forget the look on Norm´s face every time I would do something crazy because Norman was always so reserved he had known someone so serious and spontaneous as he thought I was, After my Daddy passed away Norman and I went to Hawkins Hollow to a very dear friend´s home where my father actually had passed away and it was the most beautiful place I had seen in a very long time and I was so sad and next thing I knew here he comes back to the water and he was carrying our fishing poles and a big smile from ear to ear then Norman said woman promise me when I pass away I want you to bring my ashes here and spread them here this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen he had said !! Norman you were coming to stay with me so I could take care of you I really wish you would have made it I love you my friend and there will never be a day that goes by that I won´t think of you and how kind and loving you always were to n me and my family heaven definitely has taken home one of the most precious Angels I have ever met !!! Your gonna be missed by so many especially by me !!! I´m so very sorry for your loss to all of Norma Brothers and Sisters `n
