NORMAN ESTLE SMART Norman Estle Smart, 85, of Pocahontas, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center. Norman was born in Pocahontas on April 27, 1939 to the late Clay Estle and Beulah Lee Thomas Smart. He was a longtime employee of Skyway Auto Parts and a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Calvin Smart and Dennis Smart. Norman is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margie "Juanita" Smart; daughters, Rhonda (Jeff) Duckworth of Walnut Ridge and Norma (James) Adams of Pocahontas; grandsons, Shane Duckworth of Walnut Ridge and Dalton Adams of Pocahontas; Matthew T. Johnson of Pocahontas; sister, Donnia Schafer of Pocahontas; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday February 24, 2025 from 1-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Derek Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Ben Foley, Mel Lavergne, Jacob Pipkin, Colton Ladyman, Jeff Schafer, and Eddie Smart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dewayne Barker and James Pipkin.
