Norman D. Towers, aged 87, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at The Green House Cottages of Southern Hills in Rison, Arkansas. Born November 3, 1937, to Elmer and Maureen Towers, Norman was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of his community.
He united in marriage with Patsy Russell on August 18, 1962, and their marriage was a testament to enduring love, spanning 63 wonderful years. Norman was deeply blessed with a beautiful family who brought immense joy and meaning to his life.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church Pine Bluff, Norman's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his faith and community. He dedicated 42 years to his career as a Fertilizer Sales Representative, where his professionalism and integrity earned the respect of many. His main love early in his life was roping calves and training calf horses, and later on turned to hunting and fishing with his sons and family friends. He also loved baling hay and driving his prized John Deere tractor on his property.
Norman's legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Patsy; his sons, Tim Towers and his wife Tina, and Jim Towers and his wife Melanie; his grandchildren, Adam Amick, Mason Towers, Ty Towers, Zack Towers, JT Towers, Braxton Gray, and Brayden Towers; as well as five great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his spirit and love. Norman also leaves behind a younger brother, Dickie Towers and his wife Barbara along with their children Stephanie, Ric, Russell, and Rebecca.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Norman's life at First Baptist Church Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service. The graveside service will take place thereafter at Fitzhugh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Varnell, Ace Baber, Adam Amick, Mason Towers, Ty Towers, Zack Towers, JT Towers, Braxton Gray, and Brayden Towers. Arrangements by Ralph Robinson & Son.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Pine Bluff or the Watson Chapel Fire Department. Arrangements are entrusted to Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Norman Towers will be deeply missed by all who knew him, remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the love he so generously shared.
