Norman W. Vigeant

Norman W. Vigeant, 74, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Regal Care at Lowell, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lowell on July 21, 1949, and was the eldest of ten children of the late Paul L. and Priscilla D. (Moreau) Vigeant.
Norman was raised in Dracut and was a graduate of Dracut High School with the Class of 1967. He was a union carpenter for thirty-five years and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #339. Norman was the former owner of American Results, which was a small construction company based in Westford. Sharing his skills, he was a mentor to many of his brothers in the field of carpentry. In his twenty years of retirement, Norman cherished time spent with his family.
Norman leaves his son Randy Vigeant; his siblings, Rachel Mellor of Tewksbury, Raymond Vigeant and his wife Linda Strombos Vigeant, Richard F. Vigeant and his wife Joyce Gannon-Vigeant, Donald Vigeant, Diane Vigeant, Kenneth Vigeant and his wife Stacy all of Dracut, Mark Vigeant of Hudson, NH, Fred Vigeant of California, and Brian Vigeant of Salem, NH; his nieces and nephews, Justin Mellor, Jared Mellor, Mark Tetrault, Jayne Vigeant, Jesse Vigeant, Garret Vigeant, Makayla Walker and her husband Keenan, Morgan Vigeant, Matthew Vigeant, Toni Souza and her partner John Raneri; and his grandnieces, Meadow Raneri, Hadleigh Walker and Mia Feirman.
Sadly, he is predeceased by his nephew Mark Tetreault.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 3 – 6 pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 5, at 10 am at the St. Joseph's Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHAPEL.
