Mr. Kimplen was born in Swanzey, New Hampshire, June 16, 1934, a son of Albon and Mabel (Moore) Kimplen and resided many years in Townsend.
Mr. Kimplen began his career as a woodworker at Sprague & Carleton Furniture Company in Milford, New Hampshire before going out on his own as a self employed furniture maker and woodworker. He was known for his "Wood Parties", he would go to people's houses to do wood parties, then go home make the product and deliver the product when completed.
He leaves his daughter, Nancy J. White of Ashburnham; two grandchildren, Keith White of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Amanda White of Ashby; a good friend Tab Rochette and his beloved dog, Chewy.
He was pre-deceased by his grandson, Tyler White.
Funeral services will be held privately.
