Ofelia Bolante Rocamora, 79, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2023 following a lengthy illness. She had made Salinas her home for over 60 years and attended Salinas High School.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Caesar Rocamora, her parents, Agapito and Luz Bolante, her youngest sister, Mary Lou Bolante, and her sister in law, Nancy Bolante.
Ofelia is survived by her four children, Carina (Kelvin) Windham, Caesar (Cherie) Rocamora, Corey (Anne) Rocamora, and Melissa (Darren) Jackson. Her Grandchildren whom she adored, Cody, Kayla, Connor, Tyrell, Courtney, Chase, Chad, Mia, and Jaden. Her siblings, Aurora (Rudy) Laco, Wil Bolante, Oscar (Evie) Bolante, and Jesse (Judi) Bolante, as well as her Rocamora in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and her many close friends.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She supported them in all of their athletic and school events and loved making memories with them at Disneyland. She also enjoyed taking trips to various casinos and was an avid crocheter, having made many blankets for family and friends.
Ther will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 1 -5 PM with a Rosary at 4 PM at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA 93905. There will be a Chapel Blessing Service on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 10 AM at the Mortuary Chapel.
