Olga M. Johnson, 91, of Tomah, died on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Rolling Hills Nursing Center, Sparta. On May 17th, 1934, Olga was born to Frank and Ludvika (Zorman) Anzic in Slovenia. Shortly after graduating from Milwaukee Sherwood High School, Olga met and married the love of her life, Delmar Johnson, in 1954. During her working years, Olga worked as a supervisor at Oak Manufacturing in Crystal Lake for 24 years and continued to work as an assembler at Toro in Tomah for 15 years. Olga enjoyed spending her summer days golfing, fishing, and attending to her garden and flower beds. When she wasn't out soaking up the sun, she could often be found knitting, sewing, playing cards with friends and family, or canning various vegetables from her garden. Olga also enjoyed being a caretaker for her husband, Delmar, and their 4 beloved cats. Olga will be remembered for her loving and caring heart, and her ability to always make light out of a dark time.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Robert (Sherry) Conant, James (Norma) Conant, John Conant, Debbie (Rob) Ligget, Sandy (Bill) Rice, John (LeAnn) Carlson, Kathy Carlson, Karen Heagle, Mary Heagle, and Denise (Fred) Tillman; special granddaughter, Lucy Tillman; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; a friend, Cindy Riffle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delmar; son, Tom; siblings and in-laws, Judy and Robert Heagle, Marie Conant, Donna and Phillip Heller and Liz and Byron Carlson; niece Bev Rieger; great nephews, Phillip Jensen and Weslee Rice.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Queen of Apostles Parish, 315 W. Monroe Street, Tomah. Father Ethan Hokamp will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the church cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM followed by a time for visitation at the church until the time of the service. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences can be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com
