Olga Mackow, 98, of Sugar Grove, IL passed away at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born April 18, 1925 in Lvov, Poland.
In 1944, Olga married the love of her life, Michael and in 1947, they immigrated to the United States to start their family. She built her life in Aurora, IL. There, she welcomed her two daughters, Annette and Linda. Olga was proudly employed by SealMaster in Aurora, IL for 30 years.
Olga was a woman of faith and family. She dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She was always up for an adventure and loved a great cup of coffee. She lit up every room she entered with her warm smile and was affectionately called "Grandma" by many of the people she met in life.
She is survived by two daughters Annette ( Peter) Boylan of Sydney, Australia and Linda Latta of Sugar Grove, IL; her grandchildren Kate (Peter) Bennett of St. Charles, IL, Jackie (Peter) Wicks of Sydney, Australia, and Michael (Frieda) Latta of Kenosha, WI; her great grandchildren Nick and Thomas Bennett and Sophia, Grayson, and Marylyn Latta; and her special grandchildren Michelle (Stewart) Gall and Katrina (Craig) Stanmore and special great grandchildren, Nicholas, Edward and Daniel Gall and Delphi and Eli Stanmore all of Sydney, Australia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Mackow; her parents Anna and Michael Broslavskyj; her brother Walter and her sister Maria.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Sugar Grove, IL. Fr. Stephen St. Jules will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, IL 60506.

Came back from vacation to find this dear person passed away. Olga made grandparents day at St. Rita School memorable- always smiling and lighting up a room! My condolences to her family!
