Olivia Crouch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory - Bartlesville on Jan. 2, 2024.
Olivia "Jean" (Burkhart) Crouch went to be with her Lord and Savior, December 29, 2023. Jean was born on January 15, 1933, to Horace Greeley and Maude Roseann (Berger) Burkhart at their home in Wynona, Oklahoma. One of six children, Jean graduated from Ramona High School in 1950. After graduation she attended Bartlesville Business College and began working at Phillips Petroleum Company. Jean retired from Phillips in 1980 as an executive secretary.
Jean married and raised a family of three children, all college graduates: Kevin Winkler (Richard Schneider), Kirk Winkler (Norma), and Kathy Winkler-Moore (David).
Jean married Daniel Crouch Sr. on August 29, 1980. She worked for their business, Crouch Cooling and Heating, until she and Dan's retirement in 2000.
Jean enjoyed travelling and loved to read. Later in life when Jean's vision had deteriorated, she loved to listen to books on tape. Jean loved spending time with family, especially her sisters. She loved shopping and occasionally got in "trouble" buying shoes.
Jean is survived by her husband, Dan, of their home in Bartlesville: her three children and seven stepchildren, Debbie Farmer (Alvin), Daniel Crouch Jr. (Julia), Doug Crouch (Charlene), Rachelle Wilson (Bo), Phil Crouch (Emily), Bart Crouch (Jamie) and Robbin Richey (Aaron). Jean leaves behind a whole host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and a large group of nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and five beloved siblings: Peyton Hale, Martha Ellen (Tootsie), Nadine Labell, Mary Louise, and Michael Leon.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2pm at New Harmony Baptist Church and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
