Oliver Zane "Ollie" Chartraw, 38, of Barronett joined his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Cumberland Healthcare. He was born December 31, 1983 in St. Croix Falls, WI to Richard and Colleen Rae (Baker) Chartraw. Ollie was raised in Barronett and graduated from Cumberland High School in 2002. He spent a winter in Florida, then returned and earned his CDL and Heavy Equipment certification in Sun Prairie. He worked Select Security, then worked several years as a production supervisor before his health prevented.
Ollie loved his Lord and his family, had an infectious laugh, warm smile, and charming personality. He appreciated the Lord's artwork: sunsets, sunrises, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, natural beauty, and wildlife. He had a creative and artistic mind and possessed a talent for carving, etching, drawing and the culinary arts. Like most, he had his struggles, but with his Lord's help and the support of his family, he built a wonderful life.
He is survived by his daughter, Zoe; his life partner, Gina; special niece, Zoe Stephanie; his loving mother, Rae; 3 siblings: Rich (Jessica) Chartraw, Ahna (Bartolo Martinez) Chartraw, Christopher (Cindy) Dietrich; nieces and nephews: Isabelle, Ricki, Brook, Jonathan, Sophia, Caden, Cody; aunts and uncles: Jerry (Gerry) Chartraw, Mary (David) Ricci, and Sharon (John) Vlasak, Patsy Morley, Roger Baker; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Ollie was preceded in death by his dad, Ric.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Northern Lakes Community Church with Pastor Matthew Earls and Pastor Paul Green officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers are Luke Robertson, Eric Shaw, Brent Bozych, Jon Chartraw, Andy Seeger, Bart Martinez, Jesse Chartraw, Bob Solum, Brook Spiehs, and Adam Jansen.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Skinner Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
