Ric Chartraw Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Cumberland on May 25, 2022.
Richard John "Ric" Chartraw, 71, of Barronett was called to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday morning, May 22, 2022. Ric loved the Lord and his family with his whole heart.
He was born December 20, 1950, in Cumberland, WI to Oliver and Doris (Ricci) Chartraw. Ric was married on a mountain top in Libby, Montana on August 16, 1981, to Rae Baker.
Ric was a devoted husband, father and fire fighter. He was a volunteer for the Cumberland Fire Department for 45 year and served as assistant chief for several years.
During his down time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to auctions, puttering in his shed, and riding his Harley. Ric and Rae would take road trips together and sang until their voices were hoarse. He especially cherished any time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rae; four children: Rich (Jessica) Chartraw, Ahna (Bartolo Martinez) Chartraw, Christopher (Cindy) Dietrich, and Oliver Chartraw; eight grandchildren: Isabelle, Ricki, Brook, Jonathan, Sophia, Caden, Cody, and Zoe; his siblings: Jerry (Gerry) Chartraw, Mary (David) Ricci, and Sharon (John) Vlasak; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Ric was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Northern Lakes Community Church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, and for one hour prior to the church service.
Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
