Ollie Juanita Weaver White Martell, 97, of La Pine, went Home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1927, in Canton, Texas, to the late Earl D. Weaver and Mary Katherine Miller Weaver.
Juanita worked in the kitchen at St. Charles Medical Center when it was located downtown on the hill. She was a very creative women who enjoyed quilting and embroidery in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband, James White; second husband, Ken Martell; four brothers; and her daughter, Linda Wolf.
Juanita is survived by her last remaining brother, Bill Weaver of Chino Valley, AZ; children, Minnie Gravitt of La Pine, and Dewey White of Peoria, AZ; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren (so far).
A funeral service will be held at Whispering Pines Baptist Church in La Pine, where Juanita was a longstanding member, on Friday, January 31, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:30am with the service beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Jerry Oatman officiating.
Her final resting place will be beside her husband, Ken Martell, in La Pine Community Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to Partner in Care Hospice for the comfort and care they provided for Juanita.
