Obituary of Opal Louise Radloff
Opal Louise Radloff, 93, of Edgewood, WA. peacefully entered into the loving arms of Jesus and her Heavenly Home on May 8, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with cancer.
Opal was born on March 10, 1931 to Lee and Gertrude Schuster in Deadwood, South Dakota. In 1953 she married Clyde, from Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and they had 2 children, Dan Alan, and Valerie Dawn.
Opal was predeceased by Clyde (husband), Lee (father), Gertrude (mother), Ethel Bailey (sister), Maurice Schuster (brother), Garnet Vernes (sister), Gwen Wainwright (sister), Robert Schuster (brother), Dixie Lee Strickland (sister), Mary Alice Schuster (sister), and Gilbert Schuster (brother).
She is survived by Ramona Arionus (sister), Bobbie Rood (sister), Dan (son), Lisa (daughter in law), Valerie (daughter), Daniel (grandson), Jessica Broadhead (granddaughter), Darian Broadhead (grandson in law), Ivory Mae (great granddaughter) and Olive Louise (great granddaughter coming soon).
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30th at Sumner Cemetery (12324 Valley Ave E, Puyallup) at 11:00 am--followed by a Memorial service on May 30th at Valley Baptist Church (403 Frontage Road N, Pacific, WA.) at 1:00 pm.
She had such a generous heart and caring ways. She became known as the lady who passed out candy and tiny glass ladybugs. She lived to show her love for Jesus and was eagerly waiting for the rapture. No one can replace her smile, humor, sparkling blue eyes, warmth, and sweet voice. Mom, you are greatly missed, we love you forever.
We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
You did not go alone, for part of us went with you,
The day God called you Home.
You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
