The services celebrating and honoring the life of Opal Dell Hanna Seegers, 80, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 2, 2025, in the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, Carney, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery in Agra, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Opal was born April 22, 1945, to Homer and Flora Healon Hanna in Fresno, California and passed from this life October 18, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Fresno. She married Terry McFarland in 1963 and from this union came five children, Randall, Teresa, Lisa, Tamera, and Russell. The couple moved to Enid, Oklahoma. She later married Ray Seegers. She owned and operated daycares throughout the years “Land of the Little People” in Billings and in Enid. She loved to care for children. Everyone called her MawMaw. When her grandson Jonathan was three months old, she took him into her care and had provided the best care for him. She enjoyed collecting butterflies and birds.
She is survived by her children Teresa Wilson, of the home son Randall McFarland, of Hobart, Lisa Humble and husband Hubert, of Billings, a special grandson, Jonathan Wade Gibson, her other grandchildren, Rodney, T.L, Steffanie, Harley, Kayli, Tosha, Shandi, and Adam; three great grandchildren, two sisters, Velma Lee and Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by by her husband Ray Seegers, her first husband Terry McFarland, two sons, Reburnette Walker and Russell McFarland, one daughter Tamera Gibson, and siblings, Ruthie, Melvin Elton, and Dorothy.
