Ora Lee Kidwell III

Ora Lee Kidwell III, 86, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Baptist Health Lexington, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Pauline Kidwell. Born on March 7, 1939, in Lexington, Kentucky, Ora Lee was the son of the late Ora Lee Kidwell II, and Nellie Kidwell. He dedicated many years of service to the University of Kentucky, retiring as a boiler operator. He is survived by his three sons, Tony Kidwell, Tommy Kidwell (Susan), and Bobby Kidwell; and five grandchildren, who will cherish his memory.
A funeral service to honor Ora Lee's life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, located at 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507. Interment will follow at The Lexington Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visitation prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
