Publish in a newspaper

Oscar M. Cantu Jr passed away peacefully September 23rd, 2025, in Deer Park, Texas. Oscar was born to Mary Evelyn and Oscar Manuel Cantu Sr. on December 19, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. He was raised in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Deer Park High School in 1979.

Oscar was a beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Uncle. Oscar had a successful career as a Valve Technician and he proudly served for fifteen years in the Knights of Columbus, achieving the rank of 4th Degree Knight. Upon retirement, he enjoyed his time off being around his loved ones, grilling during our family gatherings, enjoying various activities with his brother Knights, playing video games and was an avid knife collector.

Oscar loved his family fiercely. He was protective of all but especially his nieces and nephews in which he was lovingly referred to as their guard dog. His most cherished title was "Uncle Oggy" to his great nieces and nephews, whom he deeply loved, adored, and took lots of pictures of.

Oscar was preceded in death by his father, Oscar M. Cantu Sr.
