Alamo - Oscar Correa Rivera, 70, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Rivera was born December 30, 1953 in Mexico, son of Alfredo Rivera and Belen Correa Orozco. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Alfredo Rivera and Efrain Rivera.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Veronica Rivera (Roman), Oscar Rivera Jr. (Jessica), Ivan Rivera (Dora); brothers, Jaime Rivera, Arturo Rivera, Daniel Rivera; sisters, Rosa Rivera and Martha Rivera. Also surviving him are 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
