Oscar Garcia Flores of Belton, Texas passed away at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple on May 31st, 2025. He was 53 years of age.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas. Burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home.
Oscar was born on June 8th, 1971, in Matamoros, Mexico to Fernando Flores Bochas and Sixta Garcia Ramirez.
Oscar married Miryam Lenor Carranza in Mexico on August 3rd,1996, He worked as a carpenter with a highway construction company. He and Miryam had three wonderful children. Oscar loved his family and doing the simple things in life, fishing, ranching, farming, riding horses and working on cars and trucks.
Oscar is survived by his wife Miryam, his son Oscar Flores, daughters Jovanna and Miriam Flores, brothers; Fernando Flores, Conrado Flores and Lino Ortiz, sisters; Evelia Trevino, Raquel Flores, Guadalupe Martinez, Maria Socorro Flores, Benita Arevalo, and Irene Flores.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents.
