Osiel nació de Cleto Ortiz Haros y Leonarda Gonzales Carmona el 19 de noviembre de 1980 en Villa Insurgentes Sombrerete Zacatecas, México. Osiel disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Era un gran esposo, muy cariñoso, amoroso y respetuoso. Osiel tenía una gran pasión para arreglar su camioneta y pasearse en ella. Además de ser un hombre de familia y trabajar todo el tiempo, realmente disfrutaba pasar tiempo son sus hijos y en especial con sus nietos. Se le extrañara mucho.
Osiel es precedido en muerte por sus abuelitos Georgina Haros, Candelario Gonzales y Francisco Ortiz. Que en paz descansen.
Los que quedaron para apreciar su memoria son su esposa Lisa Martínez; sus hijos Ángel Ortiz, Analís Ortiz, Nayomi Ortiz Elizabeth García y José Gracia Jr.; sus padres Cleto Ortiz Haros y Leonarda González Carmona; sus hermanos Catarino Ortiz, Eusebio Ortiz y Dulce Ortiz; su Abuelita Matiana Carmona; Junto con numerosos familiares y una gran cantidad de amigos.
