Osvaldo Hernandez Jr.

Osvaldo Hernandez Jr., 42, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Geneva General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Meriden, CT on March 20, 1982, he was the son of Luz Cruz, Osvaldo Hernandez and William Medina (Stepfather). He resided in Geneva, NY, and shared a home with his girlfriend, Melissa, and his younger children. He was employed by Seneca.
Osvaldo loved his children and his family. He had a love for cooking and sharing his meals. He enjoyed fishing, animals, and nature. He loved a good scary movie, but aliens were his favorite. He loved Halloween as well.
Besides his parents and girlfriend Melissa, he is survived by his three daughters, Destiny Hernandez, Skyla Gritzbach, and Zya Hernandez; his son, Zion Hernandez; his grandson Adriel Torres-Hernandez; his two sisters, Destiny Hernandez and Natalia Hernandez and his six brothers, Angel Fernandez, Hector Fernandez, Jonathan Hernandez, Hector Hernandez, Jeremy Hernandez and Nicolas Hernandez. He is also survived by three nieces and five nephews and his grandparents, Virgen Estremara, Jose Hernandez and Estrella Hernandez. He was predeceased by his grandfather Gabriel Cruz.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, November 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06451. A funeral home service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Javier Torres officiating. The burial will be private.
