Mr. Otis Grady Junior Guider was born on November 12, 1955, to Grady Guider and Lillie Guider in Hollonville, Georgia. He received his formal education at Pike County Consolidated Hight School in Concord, Georgia.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Later in life he joined Achaia Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member of The Men of Prayer, Sunday School, Mid-week Worship, and he loved traveling with the Church.

Otis held several jobs as a cook and a roofing Contractor. In his leisure time he enjoyed cooking, playing cards, dancing, and spending time with his family, friends and Church family.

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Mr. Otis Grady Junior Guider name was called, and he answered and was set free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Guider and Lillie Guider, his brothers, Mickey Guider, and Jimmy Guider, and his sister, Geraldine Reid.

Mr. Otis Grady Junior Guider leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Dorothy (Calvin) Dewberry; three sons, Otis (Shana) Guider, Patrick Guider, and Timothy (Kathryn) Guider; his sister, Mattie Favor, two aunts, Jewel Anderson, and Mattie Mae Guider, and 14 grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Burden's Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour. Pastor Raphael Hodo is the Eulogist.
