Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 16th from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Hunter Greathouse officiating the service. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Wednesday. The interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Red Level.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Flora C. Whiddon; one daughter, Karen (Buck) Lee; daughter-in-law, Janie Whiddon; grandchildren, Doug (Tammy) Whiddon, Christy (Matt) Cobb, Brian (Lisa) Lee, and Robin Whiddon; 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Zack and Alice Whiddon; son, Terry Whiddon; sisters, Lucile Peevy, Myrtle Whiddon and Elizabeth Whiddon; and brother, Johnny (Johnnie Sue) Whiddon.
Pallbearers will be Zach Whiddon, Doug Whiddon, Randy Coxwell, Brian Lee, Noah Whiddon, and Matt Cobb.
The family request no flowers, memorials may be made to Pigeon Creek Baptist Church, ATTN: Brenda Sims, 33223 Foley Road, Red Level, AL 36474.
