Mr. Otis Williams, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at MUSC Hospital, Florence, SC.
He was born in Saluda County, SC to the late John Henry Williams and the late Dora Mae Robinson Williams. He attended Mine Creek Baptist Church in Saluda. He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County. After moving to Mullins, SC he would sometimes attend New Ebenezer AME Church with his wife, Patricia. He was a truck driver for over 50 years. His favorite pastime was fishing and he loved to watch various kinds of wrestling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Corey Davis; siblings Henry J. Williams, Michael R. Williams, John H. Williams, Jr., James Henry Bletcher, Charlie Bletcher, Marie Holland, Johnnie Mae Long, and Ethel Daylie.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Patricia Williams; sons Michael Williams and Anton Davis; daughters-in-law Nicole Williams and Sarah Davis; grandchildren Quaneice Davis, Cash Davis, Grey Davis, Michael Williams, Maya Williams, Milani Davis, along with three great-grands; two (2) sisters Dorothy Mae (Roy) Smith of Tallahassee FL and Verna Jean (Lewis) Gibson of Saluda, SC; brothers Odell and Cardell Williams, both of Maryland, Rudy Williams, John L. Williams, Earnest Williams, and Johnnie Bledsoe, all of Saluda, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Troy Funeral Home is in charge, Mullins, SC.
