Owen Wayne DeLong passed away on January 14, 2024 at Froedert Holy Family Memorial in Manitowoc. Owen was born on May 30, 1945 in Two Rivers, WI. He graduated High School with the class of 1965. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1969. Owen was a member of the American Legion Post #88. He retired from the Manitowoc Crane Company in 2004. He was an avid blood donor and hunter. Owen enjoyed hunting everything from fox, bear, racoon, rabbit and deer with his family. He loved working in his garden, camping and spending time with his family. Owen was survived by his wife Pauline of 53 years of Marriage, one daughter: Patti Jo TenHaken, one son and daughter-in-law: Leroy (Kim) DeLong, his grandchildren: Crystal TenHaken, Alan (Hannah) TenHaken, four great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, many nieces and nephews, good friend: Doug Wanger. Owen was preceded in death by his parents: Earl Herbert DeLong and Velva Margaret O'Leary DeLong, his brothers: Ronald, Gerald, Russel and Mark DeLong, two sisters: Karen Zernicke, Coralee DeLong and Pat Keller, one sister-in-law: Vie DeLong, and one niece: Andrea Anderson. The Family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 NOON on Friday January 19, 2024 at The Lendman Funeral Home, 4638 Expo Dr., Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 NOON on Friday January 19, 2024 at The Lendman Funeral Home, Manitowoc. A Lunch will follow the service at the Packer Inn, 6619 County Road F, Newton.
