Pablo R. Carrejo, 91, of San Antonio, Texas, was called to be with our Lord and Savior on July 6, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1934, in San Antonio to Oswaldo and Juanita R. Carrejo.
Pablo was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria G. Carrejo; his daughter, Anita Carrejo Soliz; his parents; and his brothers, Florencio, Jose Santos, Concepcion, Pascual, and Arturo Carrejo.
He is survived by his sister Julia C. Guerrero and his daughters: Leticia Carrejo Buenrostro (Daniel Martinez), Bianca Carrejo (Gerardo Esquivel), and Rosalinda Carrejo (Oscar Maldonado); his grandchildren: Elizabeth Rodriguez, Matthew and Elijah Buenrostro, Alura Soliz, and Mina Maldonado; a soon-to-be-born great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
As a young man, he helped raise his siblings after the early loss of his father, ensuring they received food, clothing, and an education. Later, he built a loving family with his wife Maria, raising four daughters and passing down the values of education, hard work, and family devotion. Pablo will be remembered for his love of family, creating memories with his sister and brothers, for the compassion he gave to others and the love of nature and the outdoors.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Castle Ridge Mortuary-West, 8008 Military Dr. W., with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church, 6150 Roft Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
