Paciencia Tagudin Obituary

Born on May 1, 1940, in Batac Ilocos Norte Philippines, Paciencia dedicated her life to caring for others. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University and spent over 40 years as a medical technologist at Yale New Haven and Saint Raphael Hospitals, where her patience and gentle spirit touched countless lives. Beyond her career, she was known for her warm smile, love of gardening and sports, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Paciencia is survived by her brother, Efren Tagudin (Louisa); her sister, Rosalina Tagudin de la Cruz (Modesto); her nieces and nephews Marlene de la Cruz, Roy de la Cruz (Joy), Claire West (Scott), Reymarie de la Cruz (Myla), Rosemarie Ariola (Antonio), Modesto de la Cruz (Neren), Victor and Eric Tagudin; her extended family and multiple godchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victorino and Manuela Tagudin.
Paciencia will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday November 19, 2025 from 5pm-8pm at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on THURSDAY November 20,2025 at Saint Aedan Church on 112 Fountain Street, New Haven, CT 06515. She will be buried in the Philippines with her family.
