Pam Eckhoff Obituary

Pam G. Eckhoff
Born: August 7, 1954
Died: February 8, 2026
Pam G. Eckhoff, 71, of Washington, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born in Kankakee on August 7, 1954, to Roger and Dorothy (Richards) Rohrbach.
She is survived by her daughters, Trisha (David) Mitchell of Washington, IL and Renee Daniel of St. Louis; her stepmother, Barbara Rohrbach of Bourbonnais; her sisters, Debbie (Dave) Brown of Kankakee, and Susan (Paul) Boudreau of Bourbonnais; 9 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Rohrbach; her mother, Dorothy Richards; her stepmother, Doris Rohrbach; her brother, James Rohrbach; and her long-time companion, Bruce Doris.
Pam worked at Kankakee Country Club and Homestead as a server for many years until she moved to Port Richey, FL, where she retired from Cracker Barrel.
Working in the public sector for most of her life led to Pam's infectious personality, a wonderful sense of humor with a touch of sarcasm, and a very gracious heart. After her retirement, she lived with her daughter, where she liked to bash Donald Trump, spoil her granddogs, watch old movies, and lovingly annoy and pester her family, whom she adored and bragged about constantly.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services in East Peoria is assisting the family.
There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left at www.GaryDeitersFH.com.
