Pamela "Pam" Acree Shirley, age 71, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 21, 1953, daughter of the late Charles E. Acree and the late Dorothy Hester Acree. She was a member of Westveiw Baptist Church in Douglasville.

Pam worked for Douglas County School System and Buds Benz for many years. She was a devoted Sunday School Teacher, VBS Director, and was a volunteer with Pregnancy Resource Center. Most of all she was a Pastor's wife who loved her Lord and her family.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years: Reverend Randall "Randy" Shirley; children: Becky Williams and her husband Robert, Christi Whitley, John Shirley and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren: Casey Whitley, Erin Whitley, Courtney Akers, Corey Williams, Chase Williams, Emory Shirley, Lincoln Shirley, Greyson Shirley; six great-grandchildren; her beloved Kirby her cavalier; many nieces and nephews; sisters: Pat Witte and her husband Mike, sisters-in-law: Janie Smith, Amy Acree Grosam; brother: Ronnie Acree and his wife Julie.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her brother: Chuck Acree.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 29, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ikey Watson, Pastor Billy Wallace and Brother Jimmy Post officiating. Pastor Jim Burdett and Dr. Billy Godwin will be speaking at the graveside.

Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
