Adamson – Pamela "Pam" Holton Adamson, age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on September 19, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center South. She was born on March 23, 1948, to the late George S. Holton and Susie Mae Holton. The first few years of Pam's life were spent in Italy while her father proudly served in the United States Navy. In 1948, the family returned to the United States, where she was raised in the Baptist faith as her father pastored Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church. Pam was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and her faith remained an important part of her life. After graduating high school, she went on to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees in English. Pam enjoyed a long and successful career as an Educator with a soft spot in her heart for exceptional education students. She had a lifelong love of learning and a passion for teaching others, which left a lasting impact on her students and community. On June 23, 1973, Pam married her best friend and lifelong companion, Lewis "Butch" Adamson. Together they shared 51 ½ wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with their beloved daughter, Lori. Above all else, Pam was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and making everlasting memories with her family. Pam also had a tender heart for animals and cherished their family's beloved dogs. She was certainly a treasure to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pam was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lewis Adamson.

Pam leaves behind her beloved daughter, Lori A. Adamson of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Mary James of Vidalia, GA; and 3 nephews, all of Georgia.

A Graveside Celebration of Pam's Life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery with Brother Jerry Armes officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ferreira Funeral Services, 1320 Chaffee Road South, Jacksonville, FL, 32221, 904-378-7777.
