Pamela Jayde (PJ) Brown, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away on August 29, 2024. Born January 6, 1972 in Amarillo, Texas to Mary Katherine Brown and Jerry Jay Brown, PJ moved to Midlothian, Texas in 1977, and she graduated from Midlothian High School in 1990. She worked diligently for the Army Air Force Exchange Service for 26 years, and PJ was a loving, protective mother to her son Dylan. As an avid Cowboys fan, PJ could be found hooting and hollering, cheering on her favorite team, and in the off season, one could hear her singing along to Grease from a room over. Her legacy and joy of life forever lives on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
PJ is survived by her Son: Dylan Brown, Mother: Mary Katherine Brown, Brother: Darrell Brown and wife Geneva, Trey Roden and wife Heather, Jerry Brown, Sisters: Susan Brown, Rhonda George and husband Everette, Breanna Brown, Amanda Brown, Nieces and Nephews: Krista Kreuger and husband Gary, Jeramie Brown, Elijah Roden, Sara Roden, Everette George III, Lula Wynns, Ryder Hardin, Ella Manicchia, and Arlo Manicchia, as well as a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by Sister: Sherry, Father: Jerry Brown, Grandmothers: Myrtle Steele and Edith Brown, Grandfathers: Elmon Lee Steele.
A visitation will be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 3 at 6:00pm with graveside services to follow at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 4 in Hanson Cemetery in Proctor, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on his memorial page and share them with the family.
