Rosalind Hendricks

Rosalind Gayle Hendricks passed away at home on February 21, 2025 in Denison, TX at the age of 66. She was born on August 16, 1958 to Patrick Hendricks and Queva (Hopkins) Hendricks in Waxahachie, TX. With a family history deeply rooted in Midlothian, Rosalind was a proud graduate of Midlothian High School, class of 1976.
Rosalind's life was characterized by her funny, loyal, and resilient nature. She was a beacon of kindness and understanding, always ready with a supportive word or a joke to lighten the mood. Rosalind was known for her dry sense of humor, often delivering witty remarks with a subtle, understated charm (and look) that kept everyone laughing. She was a loving Grammy to her grandchildren, and she always made sure they knew how much she loved them. Rosalind made the world a brighter place and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
Rosalind was devoted to her service at the Texoma Family Shelter, where she worked as a Resident Assistant until her retirement in 2024. Her unwavering commitment to helping others shone through all her work. Rosalind felt that she had found her calling in helping those in need, and her impact was felt deeply by the many lives she touched.
Rosalind is survived by her daughter, Mallory (Hendricks) McKeever and husband Patrick and her cherished grandchildren, Jackson and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Hendricks Jr., her mother, Queva (Hopkins) Dixon, and her brother, Patrick Hendricks III. While we grieve Rosalind's loss deeply, we find comfort knowing she is now reunited with her loved ones, experiencing eternal joy and peace.
A celebration of life will be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on Friday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. We invite friends and family to share memories and upload photos to the memorial page as we celebrate and honor Rosalind's life.
