Cecil was born on June 14th, 1931 and passed away on
April 2nd, 2025 at the age of 93Cecil Wallace Duvall passed from this earthly life into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Cecil was born June 14, 1931, to Zach Griffith and Verna Evelyn Duvall. He attended Midlothian High School, and married his high school sweetheart Lois Brumbeloe on July 31, 1949. They were married for 68 wonderful years. He went to work for General Motors in Arlington in 1954 and retired after "30 years" service in 1984. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His greatest joy was being with his family. He loved Cowboys football and Rangers Baseball, traveling, gardening, tending to his birds. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Duvall, one daughter, Connie Lee Cannon, his parents, Lloyd and Verna Duvall and sister, Mary Kathryn Cummings. He is survived by his daughters Cecilia Cannon and husband Pete of Venus TX; Kay Thompson and husband Bob of Arlington TX; and Tammy Brothers and husband Ron of Midlothian TX. He is also survived by 8 very special grandchildren including Amy Deatherage, Tony Cannon, Sandie Sermarini, Cody Cannon, Angela Rudy, Jackie McDonald, Danny Pearson, Amy Brothers and 11 very precious great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Don Duvall and wife Jan of Davis, OK. Anyone who met him, loved him and will never forget him.
