Willard Lynn Heth, affectionately known by his nicknames "Lynn" and "Buckeye," completed his earthly journey on August 28th, 2025. Born in Marion, Ohio on the cheerful day of December 25th, 1939, he was undoubtedly the best Christmas gift his parents ever received. Lynn was a man who embodied the spirit of generosity, love, thoughtfulness, and supportiveness not just during the holiday season, but throughout his entire lifetime.

Lynn was a proud Buckeye from the beginning, but he eventually found his way to Midlothian, Texas, where he set down deep roots and spent over six decades of his life. He was a strong pillar in the community, whether it was through his successful business, a beloved nursery and garden center, or his committed participation in the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Lion's Club, and Jaycees. Lynn was also an Elder of First Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, deeply dedicated to his faith. As Psalm 112:5 states, "Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice," and Lynn embodied this verse thoroughly. He was known as a good neighbor and friend to all, always ready to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.

In his free time, Lynn enjoyed hunting, painting, and swimming. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life and had a knack for making any ordinary moment feel extraordinary. His love for God and family was evident in everything he did. He leaves behind his loving wife of sixty-five years, Lawana, his supportive daughters and sons-in-laws Susan Branam, husband George and Wende Davis husband Billy, three granddaughters, Stacie West, husband Addisen, Hollie Currier, husband Chris, and Stevi Ellis, husband Brent and 5 great grandchildren and a community of friends who will miss him dearly. He now joins his parents, Willard and Berniece Heth, and brother, Warren Heth, in eternal rest.

In memory of our dear Lynn, we encourage everyone to share your favorite memories and upload photos of him to his memorial page. Let us remember and celebrate Lynn's life, a life that was filled with generosity, love, and thoughtfulness.
