Pamela Cannon

Pamela Chloe Krull Hewitt Cannon age 80, of Oneida, TN, departed this life at her home on September 6, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on November 25, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Chester and Geraldine Krull, but was lovingly raised by her grandparents, the late Charles, Chloe, and Elizabeth Hewitt. Pamela was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron Krull and Jay Clawson, as well as her step-grandson, Jessie Brewster.
Pamela was the beloved wife of Jack Cannon, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Laura Cannon Brewster (spouse David Brewster), and a proud grandmother to C.J. Webb (spouse Brook Webb), Brooke Raper (spouse Gary Raper), step grandchildren Destiny Worley (Jeremy) Wyatt Brewster, Jase Brewster. Her joy grew even greater as she became a great-grandmother to Braylee, Emma, and Gracelyn Webb, Titan and Erik Raper, and Zeke, Luke, and Ava Worley. She is also survived by a Nephew David Lee Krull
Pamela earned her master's degree in Biology and Physical Education. She retired from teaching and went on to follow her dream of opening a horse tack store. In June of 1990, she founded South Fork Tack, which she successfully ran for 27 years. Beyond her classroom teaching, she shared her gifts through 12 years of swimming instruction, as well as teaching gymnastics and horseback riding lessons.
She found joy in her horses, tending to her garden, and crocheting gifts filled with love. Her life was a reflection of her dedication to education, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her passion for helping others learn and grow.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pamela's life at a memorial service on Thursday, September 11th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida.
Pamela will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family.
To honor Pam's great love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Halos Animal Rescue, For the Love of Paws, or Horse Haven of Tennessee.
