Pamela Jean "Ashley" Gagel, 66, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. She was born in Louisville, Ky on November 10, 1958, to the late Roy E. Ashley and Marceline "Deutsch" Ashley. Pamela was a homemaker, she was a devoted military wife, and loving mother. She was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church and a former member of City Road Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years, Henry M.Gagel; sister, Brenda Bennett.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Terri Lotich (Brent) and Nicole Pullen (Eric); two sons, Michael Gagel (Kimberly) and Matthew Gagel (Catrina); step son, Donald Karmun; sister, Carolyn Danley (Bill); eight grandchildren, Allison, Spencer, Haylee, Evan, Cedric, Noah, Kathryn, Elijah and Paige; and a host of family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. until time of service. Expression of sympathy may be made to St. Jude’s.
