Pamela ‘Betty’ Gibson-Walker

On Thursday, February 23, 2023, our beloved, Mrs.Pamela 'Betty' Gibson-Walker, peacefully slipped into an eternal rest at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas due to congestive heart failure and kidney failure.
Pamela was born in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Isreal and Teretha Gibson on December 30,1953. She was united in marriage on April 1, 1976. She was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother to three daughters. She laid a foundation of values, integrity, and honesty. Mrs. Walker had pride that was wrapped in humbleness and compassion along with her beliefs in treating people the way you want to be treated, respect and honesty. She put everyone else's needs before her own.
Mrs. Walker made a firm foundation on the faith of God, that she instilled in her children and grandchildren. She believed that God should be first in everything that you do and all you needed was faith the size of a mustard seed.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Isreal and Teretha Gibson, her brothers: Nathaniel 'Peter' Gibson and Willie 'Joe' Gibson, and her sisters: Sidney B. Davis, Lady 'Laura' Arbertha, and Pearlean Gibson.
Her memory will forever be cherished by three daughters: Tennille Walker- Wells (Rickey) – Everett, MA, Tamara Walker- Woodberry (Batese) – Boston, MA and Daniela Walker – Jacksonville, AR; a separated husband : Clifton Walker; her sisters : Lula Galloway, Annie L. Willie) Boyd – Washington, D.C, and Marilyn Gibson – Pflugerville, TX; her brothers: Israel Gibson JR – Boston, MA, and Siscro Gibson (Mary) – Boston, MA; nine grandchildren: De'Shawn, Kiesha, Thaima, Jaquarre, Naturi, Tarese, Leroy, Zachariah and Rickey JR ; one great-grandson; and a host of relatives.
