Poultney- Pamela Jean Nemeth Goodwin, 71, of Poultney died Saturday August 2nd peacefully at her home.
She was born February 9, 1954, in Rutland, the daughter of Dezso and Beatrice (Senecal) Nemeth.
Pam married the love of her life George ( Butch) Goodwin on March 18, 2000. They lived in Proctor then moved to Ferrisburgh for seven years and moved to Poultney where Pam wanted to make their forever home.
Pam was the heart of her family and enjoyed cooking and hosting holidays at her home. She took pride in all of her family and friends. She was a talented country singer and bass player in a band alongside her husband Butch. She loved to garden and go on long rides with her husband exploring the state. She has touched many lives with her beautiful smile and energy. She leaves behind many wonderful memories for her loved ones.
Survivors include her husband George( Butch) Goodwin, sons and their wives George Goodwin and Lori Genier of Castleton, Vt., Patrick and Nita Goodwin of Poultney Vt., Marc and Jamie Lee Goodwin of Castleton, Vt., and Lucas (Ben) Goodwin of Castleton, Vt. and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved dog Rita and two cats.
