Pam Maslany

Pam Maslany died peacefully, in her home in Mt. Morris, surrounded by family Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born November 22, 1953, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Woodrow and Helen Eddy Gordon. She is survived by her husband, John; and their two sons, Tony of Marietta, Ohio and Matthew of Lockport, N.Y.; as well as all her nephews and her niece and their families: Karen and Todd Dever, Rick Gilchrist and Regina Duritsa, Steve and Tara Gilchrist, Lance Gordon, Scott and Missy Gordon. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah; sister, Edith Gilchrist; brother, Tom Gordon; and infant brother, Billy. Pam was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a graduate of Mountain State Business College. She worked as the executive secretary for the West Virginia Credit Union League. She left there in 1987 to raise her family. Pam loved to read and cook, and whether it was cross stitch, crochet, tole painting or knitting, Pam was happiest when she was creating something to give to family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, in St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5080 School House Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, with Father David Huffman as celebrant. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the family's convenience, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Little Hocking, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, in Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, W.Va.
