Pamela Ann (Bryant) Hobbs, 65, of South Daytona, FL, passed away on January 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Pam was born on January 7, 1959, in Plainville, Massachusetts. Pam was a fiercely loyal and generous person. She could walk into a room full of strangers and when she left, they all had a new friend. Pam also had a knack for giving the most thoughtful gifts to her loved ones on special occasions. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Bruce. Also, their daughter, Sharon Blitchington, son-in-law Pete, grandsons Nicholas and Nathan, Aunt Reta-May Matthews, Uncle Bill Rogerson (Carol), sister Brenda Cipriano, brother-in-law Ed Hobbs, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She had many dear friends from all over the country. She was a lifelong advocate for animals and a cat lover. She leaves her beloved cat Pawly Prine. The family would like to acknowledge the unwavering love and support from friends Robert and Roxanne Kelly and Rob and Mary Lou Dauber and Kevin Hobbs.
She was predeceased by her mother, Marie Bryant, and father, Macon Bryant.
Pam dedicated her career to serving others. She worked at The Conklin Center for the Blind, The Child Advocacy Center, and Social Services for the State of Florida. In recent years, she earned her Human Resources certification and retired as the Director of Human Resources for the Citrus County Girl Scouts of America.
Nothing made Pam happier than traveling with Bruce in their camper; unloading their motorcycle and exploring the places they would visit. One of her favorite trips was to Clarksdale, MS and the Delta Blues Trail. She loved listening to music, attending music festivals, and taking in nature.
There are no services planned at this time. If anyone would like to honor Pam kindly do so with a contribution to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
Please enjoy listening to music, having a "cold one" and saying "I Love You" in Pam's memory. She will forever be in our hearts.

Pam was the sweetest , nicest ,caring outgoing person i think I've ever met. Always looked forward going to Florida to see Bruce and Pam. Ill always cherish the time we did spend together and always very appreciative of your hospitality from both Pam and Bruce opening up there home to me and my wife like it was our home. One thing stands out alot everytime we would travel to bike week she always made sure to get me a birthday card and wish me a happy birthday. I will definitely think of you Pam everytime i listen to some blues. From myself and Wendy we Love you Pam and Bruce.
